A well-drafted document means that both the employer and employee know where they stand and thus it will help to avoid costly disputes at a later stage. They consist of express terms written into the employment contract and implied terms which are not expressly stated. Although employment contracts are governed by contract law, there are many statutory rules which affect employment contracts too. You may want to add additional terms to the contracts, such as restrictive covenants or the need for an employee to have a DBS disclosure. Green HR Consultancy can guide your business through this process and give you the confidence that your needs are met.
